You need to upload it to a photo site like photobucket and then put the img tags before and after it. Photobucket automatically puts them on there for you. It doesn't work to do a "link" to where it's stored on your computer, needs to be linked to the photo somewhere on the internet.

There might be a way to manually upload to this forum but I haven't read up on it yet. I already keep all mine on phbucket.

I can't figure out how to do it either Charlie.

I don't know what IMG's are or how to put them in front of and in back of my pictures. I'm on photobucket, but I only get links!

Go to your photo album on Phbucket.

When you put the mouse over a pic (don't click it) , a little window with some links in it drops down.

The bottom one is the IMG code.

Click on it and it will be highlighted blue.

Right click on the highlighted IMG link and click Copy in the window that pops up.

Then go to the thread you're posting the pic in and right click in the Text Box where you type. When you right-click another window pops open with some options...click Paste and you're done! The link will show up as text in the text box but when you post, it will show as a pic.

Like this!

If you want ot share and entire album, got the the album and there's a link towards the top right that says share album. Then it's prtty much the same operation. Copy and paste link at the bottom.

I tried following those instructions, but came up short in the understanding of computer terminolgy and application theory.

I just followed your tutorial and it was a great success!

I think part of the secret is not to click on your picture first. That puts you into an edit area and place to add titles and descriptions.

I started a new topic called TJ on the Rocks. My downloaded picture is there.

Thanks David.
